Obituary for Diana Mary Baker

A Bardstown resident, Mrs. Diana Mary Baker, age 64, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Norton Healthcare in Louisville. She was born on March 11, 1953 in Shelburn, IN., to the late Harold and Virginia Bowen Valley. Diana was a retired receptionist for Sisters of Charity Nazareth, was an avid quilter, loved cats and her grandchildren and was a member of Wickland Baptist Church.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, David Valley.
She is survived by her husband, Cecil Ray Baker, a daughter, Jennifer Baker of Bardstown, 2 sons, Michael (Sherry) Baker of Lexington and John Baker of Bardstown, 1 brother, Glenn (Jackie) Valley of Frankfort. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Jack Baker, Lucy Baker and Magnus Heck.
Funeral services for Diana Baker will be Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 11:00am at the Houghlin Greenwell Funeral Home with Brother Dennis King officiating. Interment will be in Bardstown Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00-8:00pm and Saturday after 8:30am at the Houghlin Greenwell Funeral Home, 1475 New Shepherdsville Road, who is in charge of arrangements. The family request that contributions be made to Norton Children’s Hospital.
