Obituary for Kenneth Edward "Kenny" Monroe

A Taylorsville resident, Kenneth Edward “Kenny” Monroe age 73 passed away Saturday August 18, 2018 at Baptist Healthcare in Louisville, Ky. He was born December 6, 1944 in Shelbyville Ky to Paul Edward and Virginia Corine Ingram Monroe. He was a farmer, mechanic and a member of the Wakefield Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father Paul Edward Ingram.
He is survived by his wife Faye Breeding Monroe, a daughter Patty Monroe of Taylorsville, 2 sons Harold Monroe (Janeth) of Waddy and Michael Monroe (Malena) of Taylorsville. His mother, Corine Monroe and 2 brothers, Mike Monroe (Cathy) and Bill Monroe (Bonnie) all of Taylorsville, a sister Sue Case (Edgar) of Bloomfield and Grandchildren Alex and Beth Monroe
Funeral services for Mr. Monroe will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday August 23, 2018 at the Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home. Bro. Tom Sparrow will be officiating. Interment will be at Big Spring Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. The Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements.
