Obituary for Lucille Barnett Curtsinger

A Taylorsville resident, Mrs. Lucille Curtsinger, age 78, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018 at her residence. She was born July 28, 1939 in Spencer County to the late James Thomas and Annie Hazel Maddox Barnett. Lucille was an employee of Shelby Manor Nursing Home and Signature Heathcare for 15 years and was of the Pentecostal Faith.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Curtsinger, a daughter, Rebecca Lynn Curtsinger and a son, James Carlton Curtsinger.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Anna (David) Burden, Melissa (Steve) Redmon, Beth Ann (Joseph) Chesser, all of Taylorsville, 5 sons, Billy (Debbie) Curtsinger of Taylorsville, Tommy (Deanna) Curtsinger of Fairfield, Gary (Vicki) Curtsinger of Taylorsville, Kelly (Julie) Curtsinger of Mt. Washington, Willie (Melinda) Curtsinger Jr. of Fairfield, her sister, Helen (Howard) King of Taylorsville and her brother, Larry (Caroline) Barnett of Frankfort. 25 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lucille Curtsinger will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at the Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home. Bro. Eric Gilbert and Bro. David Clay will officiate. Interment will be in Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3:00-8:00 pm. The Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
