Obituary for William Thomas "Tommy" McClain

A Taylorsville resident, Mr. William Thomas “Tommy” McClain, age 67, passed away Saturday, August 04, 2018 in Signature Healthcare of Spencer County. He was born January 21, 1951 in Taylorsville to the late Clyde Thomas and Margaret Mattingly McClain. Tommy was a truck driver for Kentucky Trailer and was a member of Waterford Church of Christ.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Bethanie (Tim) Nice of Shelbyville, Sarah Jane (Jason) Whinghter of Jackson, SC., 2 sons, Stephen (Pam) McClain & Phil Miller both of Taylorsville., 2 sisters, Brenda (Charlie) Moody of Shelbyville, Charlotte (Charlie) Chandler of Taylorsville, and 2 brothers, Randy (Patty) McClain and Douglas (Sherry) McClain, both of Taylorsville. 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services for Tommy McClain will be 11:00 am Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at the Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home in Taylorsville. Minister Joe Stone and Reverend Daniel Guagenti officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memory Gardens in Mt. Washington. Visitation will be Monday from 3:00-8:00 pm. The Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
