Obituary for Betty Jean Hall

A Cox’s Creek resident Mrs. Betty Jean Hall age 86 passed away Thursday May 2, 2019 at Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown. Betty Jean was born October 31, 1932 in Nelson County to the late Joe Ed and Louise Wilhite Bell. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles V. Hall, 4 sons, David, Marty, Steve and Scott Hall, 2 sisters, Mary Jo Hite and Ruth Ann Loy. She was a homemaker, farmer and a faithful member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Fairfield.
She is survived by a daughter Mary Hall Johnson (Dennis) of Cox’s Creek, 2 sons, Robbie and Eddie Hall both of Cox’s Creek, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren also survive.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, May 6, 2019 at 11:00am at St. Michael Catholic Church. Fr. Johnny Johnson and Fr. Terry Bradshaw will concelebrate. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday at the Houghlin Funeral Home from 3:00-8:00pm with prayers Sunday evening at the funeral home. The Houghlin Funeral of Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
