Obituary for Joseph Gilbert Kimball

A Taylorsville resident, Mr. Joseph Gilbert Kimball, age 79, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019 in Baptist Healthcare in Louisville. He was born May 11, 1939 in Memphis, TN., to the late Jesse Tolbert and Sarah Ruth Callicutt Kimball. Gilbert was a retired employee of General Electric, a retired maintenance worker at the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center, and was a member of Little Union Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Maddox Kimball, his son, Michael Kimball of Taylorsville, 4 grandchildren, Joey, Nikki, Brittany, and Codey Kimball, and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home in Taylorsville. Bro. Will Sipes and Bro. David Clay will officiate. Interment will be in Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 2:00-8:00 pm. The Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
