Obituary for Linda Helen Smith
A Lawrenceburg resident, Mrs. Linda Helen Smith, age 66, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2019 at her residence. She was born December 20, 1952 in Covington, Kentucky to the late William and Dorothy Smith Coyle. She was a retired employee of Baptist Healthcare and attended Taylorsville Community Church. Linda was the best wife, mother, and grandmother, and she loved to cook and travel.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Coyle, and a brother, Gary Coyle.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Smith, her daughter, Heather Nicole (Brad) Biggers of Taylorsville, her son, Matthew Layne (Ashley) Smith of Chaplin, 2 granddaughters, Ava and Audrey Biggers, 3 sisters, Kathy (Steve) Moloney of Augusta, KY., Shellie Coyle of Cynthiana, KY., Tracy Smith of South Carolina, 3 brothers, Dennis (Sabrina) Coyle of Erlanger, KY., Dave (Christine) Coyle of Fort Thomas, KY., Pat Coyle of Slade, KY., as well as several special cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Linda Helen Smith will be 11:00 am Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at the Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home in Taylorsville. Bro. Chad Goodlett will officiate. Interment will be in Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00-8:00 pm and Wednesday from 9:00 am until time of funeral services. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contribution to the Nikki Mitchell Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer. The Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
