Obituary for Marvin Ray Wilson

A Bardstown resident, Mr. Marvin Ray Wilson age 77 passed away Friday, October 4, 2019 at the VA Hospital in Louisville. He was born on February 2, 1942 in Greenville, N.C., to the late Lewis and Adell Williams Wilson. Marvin was a former employee of World Color in Illinois and was a former employee at the Bardstown Kroger and was a United States Air Force veteran.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Maron Wilson.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Sherry Howard Wilson, daughters, Tina and Jennifer Wilson both of Illinois, Sarah Baker of Louisville, Irene Baker of Bardstown, son, William Baker of Brandenburg, a sister, Della Adamek of DesPlains, IL., along with several grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Marvin Wilson will be 1:00pm, Monday October 7, 2019 at the Houghlin Greenwell Funeral Home with Deacon Sam Filiatreau officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 9:00am-time of service at 1:00pm at the Houghlin Greenwell Funeral Home, 1475 New Shepherdsville Road who is in charge of arrangements.
