Obituary for Frances Mae Crowe

A former Bardstown resident, Mrs. Frances Mae Crowe, 89, passed away Tuesday, March 06, 2018 at Forest Springs Health Campus in Louisville. She was born on November 26, 1928 in Louisville to the late Joe, Sr and Lena Mae Hubbard Bealmear. Frances retired after 36 years with Barton Brands LTD and was a former employee of Bardstown Manufacturing. She was also a former member of Bardstown and Bloomfield Senior Citizens Clubs and was also a member of Bardstown Baptist Church.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward Goatley, her 2nd husband, Austin Crowe, a daughter, Connie S. Whitt, sisters, Geneva Mudd, Jennie V. Hibbs and a brother, Joe Bealmear, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter Denise Coomes (John) of Union, a sister, Ruby Waddell of Cox’s Creek and 2 grandchildren, Michelle Busch and Melanie Coomes. She is also survived by 2 great grandchildren Chloe and Katie Busch along with several nieces and nephews.
The family has followed her wishes with a non-ceremonial cremation. Interment will be Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 1:00pm in St. Joseph Church Cemetery. Dr. Randal Pollock of Bardstown Baptist Church will officiate. Houghlin Greenwell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
