Obituary for Jerry Baker III

A Horse Cave resident formerly of Bardstown, Mr. Jerry Baker III age 57 passed away Wednesday May 9, 2018 at his residence. He was born on February 4, 1961 in West Point, MS to Jerry Baker, Jr. and Martha Newell Hickman. Jerry was a graduate of Bardstown High School, a Navy veteran, member of the Our Lady of the Cave Catholic Church a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus and sang in the church choir and was an employee of Dart Manufacturing and a former truck driver for Avery Trucking.
Besides his father he was preceded in death by his step father Cornelius Hickman.
He is survived by his mother Martha N. Hickman of Bardstown, a sister Cora (Ricky) Lugo of Bluffton, SC., Bonnie Hickman of East Orange, NJ a brother Greg(Monica)Hickman of Olive Branch, MS., a nephew, Elijah Lugo, niece Shaina Lugo and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Cremation was chosen by the family and a memorial mass will be Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 11:00am at St. Monica Catholic Church with Reverend Jason Harris celebrant. Interment will be in Bardstown Cemetery. Visitation will be at St. Monica Church from 9:00am-11:00am. Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home, 1475 New Shepherdsville Road, who is in charge of arrangements.
