Obituary for James Cecil Jones

A Bardstown resident, Mr. James Cecil Jones, age 68, passed away Monday, August 13, 2018 at his residence. He was born on October 16, 1949 in Glen’s Fork, KY to the late James Herbert and Frances Flippin Jones. James was a carpenter and radio D.J., and a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Vietnam War.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Angie Crowe of Bardstown, Stephany Jones of Michigan, 4 sons, Jabari Jones, Trae Jones, Terry Crowe, Angelo Crowe all of Bardstown, 3 sisters, Freda Hayes of Flint, MI., Darline Jones of Grand Blanc, MI., Nora Jones of Bardstown, 3 brothers, Claude D. Jones of Jacksonville, Fl., Gilbert W. Jones of Bloomfield, Johnnie L. Jones of Grand Blanc, Michigan. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation for James Cecil Jones will be Saturday August 25, 2018 from 2:00-5:00pm at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home, 1475 New Shepherdsville Road. Interment will be in Lebanon National Cemetery on Monday August 27, 2018 at 1:30pm. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home.
